Jorge Quinteros

Jorge has over a decade of experience specializing in community outreach and event-based initiatives. A graduate of California State University, Long Beach, he holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and has dedicated his career to building meaningful connections that drive impact within underserved communities.

Born in Compton and raised in South Gate, Jorge takes great pride in his roots and remains deeply committed to serving the very communities that shaped him. Throughout his career, he has cultivated strong relationships with community-based organizations across Los Angeles County and Orange County, all united by a shared mission to connect and support underserved populations.

Jorge previously served as a Field Marketing Specialist at AltaMed, where he led community efforts throughout East Los Angeles. In this role, he focused on raising awareness and providing valuable healthcare resources to the senior population.

As of April 2026, Jorge has joined SCAN Health Plan, embracing their “family of rebels” mindset. In this new chapter, he aims to further his passion for community service by continuing to uplift and advocate for those who need it most. He strongly believes in the power of relationships and lives by the motto: “It’s not what you know, or who you know, but who knows you.”

Outside of his professional life, Jorge enjoys watching movies, spending quality time with his wife and their two dogs, and occasionally dancing and singing karaoke.
